Our Mission
The BC Winter Games Secretariat leads British Columbia's effort to build pride and excitement through the Games.
Our Goals
The BC Secretariat will focus on four strategic goals to implement its mission for the 2010 Olympic Games and beyond:
1. Provide oversight of the Province's financial investment in the 2010 Games
2. Showcase BC to the world as the best place to visit, invest and conduct business
3. Work with all Ministries, agencies and Crowns to ensure that the 2010 Games:
- Result in sustainable social, cultural and sport legacies that benefit every community in BC
- Stimulate economic development and create sustainable economic legacies through BC
4. Build and maintain excellent relationships with all 2010 partners, stakeholders and communities and work together to ensure a successful Games
